Persatuan Pemangkin Kesedaran Sosial is presently seeking a Policy Researcher to help us conduct research, write report and lead public advocacy on issues realted to economics and finance in Sabah and Sarawak.

Based in Kuching, the successful candidate must:

• have a univeristy degree in economics and/or finance;
• have a minimum of three years working experience;
• be fluent in English and Malay (other languages will be an advantage);
• proficient in MS Office (ie Excel, Words, Powerpoint);
• be well-read and informed about current issues of economic/finance significance;
• display a resourcefulness in collecting, organising and processing a wide array of data;
• be able to write policy briefs and research reports;
• be able to think through social issues and suggest creative policy solutions;
• have a commitment to improve the situation of marginalised segments of society; and
• work collaboratively in a team as well as independently and proactively when neccessary;
